Today is the BIG Day!

Today is the day I get to marry the father of my child.

Today will be one of the happiest days in my life.

Today is the day I get to marry my best friend.

Since I know Luke won’t be reading my blog today here is a sneak peak from my dress fitting so you can see my dress.

Tomorrow we fly out bright and early to Negril Jamaica and we couldn’t be more excited.

However, we are going to miss this girl like CRAZY!!!

Wedding Plans

With less than 2 weeks until the wedding, I thought I would give you a sneak peak of the plans.  These pictures are the closets I could find.

Bridesmaids- Black Dresses

Brides Bouquet- White Roses with a few pale pink roses mixed in

Centerpieces:

We will have 20 tables.  Half will have a glass square vase filled with pink ice beads and white baby’s breath.   

The other half will have a black lantern with a wreath of baby’s breath around it.  Glass votive candles will also be on tables.

Cake- 4 Tier Square Cake

1st Tier- Vanilla cake with blueberry filling

2nd Tier- Strawberry cake with lemon filling

3rd Tier- Lemon Cake with strawberry filling

4th Tier- Lemon Cake with Raspberry filling

It will be every other tier like this cake with plane and squiggles but square and set back in one corner like the second picture.  Each tier will have 2 rows of diamonds like the third picture.

Appetizer/Social Hour- Cheese and Cracker Trays, Vegetable Tray

Dinner Buffet: Tossed Salad, Mozzarella Salad, Rolls, Pecan Chicken, Beef Roast, Green Beans, Twice Baked Potato Casserole.

Late Night Snack- Mini pizza muffins and homemade (Luke's moms recipe) bierocks.

Bachelorette Weekend- Part 2

After getting ready and opening gifts we all headed down to the hotel bars free happy hour.

During happy hour they had a few snacks set out.  There was a bowl full of animal crackers.  I popped one in my mouth and it was PURE heaven!

Do you remember when you were a kid growing up the OLD McDonaldland cookies?  To me they kind of had a lemon flavor to them.  Well, these cookies tasted EXACTLY like them.  They were amazing!!!  And pretty much made my night (or so I thought until the rest of the night came).

I grabbed the bowl and headed back to our room.  I felt bad for everyone else missing out but I am pretty sure I may have killed that whole bowl all by myself!

Little did I know when we headed back up to the room I would have a surprise waiting for me.

An officer arrived at our door (a hot one!) to place me under arrest.  You better believe I didn’t resist!

I assumed the position…

He made me walk a straight line.

And….suck….on a blow pop!  Yes, I peeked to make sure I knew what was going on.

Honestly, until this happened to me I don’t think I would have wanted a male stripper.  But our guy was a lot of fun, hot, good at interacting, and hot and a good ice breaker.  A lot of the girls didn’t know each other so I think it was a good way to get all the girls to relax and have fun. 

After the stripper left we all went out to eat.  On our way to the restaurant my mom (who had been taking all the pics because I left my camera at home) managed to delete all the pictures off her camera.  I tried to look up on my phone how to reverse it but read that it had to be done on the computer and to not take any more pictures.  So this is where the pictures end.

We ate a PF Changs.  It was good but nothing I would rave about. 

After dinner we went to a local bar.  It was different then the bars we are used to.  Nowhere to dance and very much like a collage bar.  We sold our suck for a buck suckers and made $62 dollars.  The people in this bar (collage kids) didn’t really get the idea.

We all headed back to the hotel around 12:30am.  Once we got back we stayed up and had girl talk until 1:30am and then went to bed.

The next morning after our breakfast we headed home.  I couldn’t wait to see Luke and Lakelyn, I missed them both so much!

I had an amazing weekend and I have such amazing friends who really made the entire night one to remember!!

Oh, and obviously when I got home I was able to recover all the photos!
