Lakelyn Thoughts: Favor

Me: Lakelyn go throw your trash away in the trash can.

Lakelyn: Mom, Mom, will you do me a favor?

Me: Yes, what?

Lakelyn: Umm, will you go throw my trash away?

Marek- 3 Months Old

You started daycare 1 day before you turned 3 months old.  It was a bittersweet moment.  I was ready to go back to work but you were such a good baby to me while I was at home with you that it was hard to leave you.  You started at the same daycare as your sister which made it an easy transition.

Sleeping- You started this month off still sleeping through the night.  But then you caught a cough you starting waking up twice a night coughing.  Most of the time after a quick bottle you go right back to sleep.

Eating-  You started eating 6oz bottles every 3-4 hrs at day care.  You would have a 4oz bottle around 6pm and then a 6oz bottle before bed.  When you started waking up twice a night you would drink a 4oz bottle each time you woke up.

Clothes- 6 Month clothes, 3 month are too short and tight.

Diaper-Pampers Size 2 

Marek- 2 Months Old

We had another exciting month!  

You had your first boat ride on our boat.  You slept the whole time which was to be expected..  

You also celebrated your first 4^th of July.  You handled the fireworks like a pro.  I was worried they would hurt your ears or scare you but after the first initial pop you were fine.  You sat in your bouncer the whole time and relaxed.

You are such a happy baby.  You smile, coo and blow bubbles all the time.

Sleeping- You are still only waking up once a night, which is a dream come true.  You wake up once around 3am and then again between 6am-7am.  When you wake up in the morning I bring you in bed with me which allows us both to sleep for another couple hours.

Eating-  You are still eating 4oz bottles every 2-3hrs during the day and once when you wake at night.

Clothes- Some 3-6 months clothes still fit but are beginning to get tight.  6 month clothes fit more comfortably.

Diaper- Pampers size 2

At the end of this month your daddy and I left you and Lakelyn with Grandma Vicky for 5 days.  We went to Cabo San Lucas for a work trip.  It was hard to leave you but it was a much needed vacation and my mind is always at ease when you are with grandma.  She does such an amazing job with you kids.
