Bump #2- 39 Weeks

These last few weeks I have been crazy busy at work getting ready to start my maternity leave so the blog has been slacking.  I was really hoping to of had this baby by now but he apparently has other plans.  I had Lakelyn exactly one week early so he is already 1 day past her. 

I would really appreciate if everyone had all fingers and toes crossed this baby comes out tonight!  If not then I have an induction date set for Tuesday April 22^nd.

How Far Along:  39 weeks

Size of baby: About the size of a watermelon, 18.9-20.9 inches and 6.2-9.2 lbs.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +40 lbs

Maternity Clothes: All pants and some shirts

Gender: BOY!!

Movement:  Lots of rolls!

Symptoms: Nothing new

Sleep: Still getting up at least once a night to potty sometime twice.

What I miss: Feeling normal, walking at a normal pace, alcohol, wearing normal size clothing…everything!

Cravings: None

Next Appointment: 4/21

Looking forward to: Having this baby!

Differences in last pregnancy: Still felling like this boy is HUGE, I can’t figure out how is laying in there but I think it’s on his side with his feet straight out to the side.

Last Appointment review:  Heart beat was 150, still dilated to a 4.  My doctor guessed I would go into labor in 24-48hrs.  As I write this post we are half an hour from 48hrs, so it’s not looking good!  If he doesn’t make his arrival soon then I am being induced on Tuesday April 22^nd.

Size of baby: About the size of a pumpkin, 18.9-20.9 inches and 6.2-9.2 lbs.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +38 lbs

Maternity Clothes: All pants and some shirts

Gender: BOY!!

Movement:  Lots of rolls!

Symptoms: Nothing new

Sleep: Still getting up once a night to potty.

What I miss: Alcohol and exercising

Cravings: None

Next Appointment: 4/15

Looking forward to: Not being pregnant

Differences in last pregnancy: I fell like this boy is HUGE, I don’t remember feeling like that with Lakelyn.

Last Appointment review:  Heart beat was 152, dilated to a 4.

2 Years Ago…

Two years ago tomorrow I posted my first post, this will be my 201^st post.  

When I started this blog I wanted it to be a place for me to journal my life but more importantly Lakelyn’s life.  I had been reading lots of other blogs that would do monthly updates on their children and wanted to have something like that for Lakelyn. 

I started this blog when she was 4 months old and did my best to provide a monthly update on how she grew and changed each month.  I am glad I did these because now I can look back and compare once little man arrives.  I plan to do monthly updates for him as well.

Not only did I blog about Lakelyn but I also got to blog about our engagement, wedding and honeymoon.  A huge part of preparing for the wedding was losing some much needed weight.  Posting pictures and my weight number was probably one of the hardest things to do.  But I am so glad I did it.  When I was in the middle of this battle and got discouraged I had a place to go back and look at how far I had come and that eventually the weeks of small pounds lost added up.  I am looking forward to doing this again once little man arrives and I can get back to it.

I have met some really great people though this blog and look forward to meeting many more.  If you have been here since the beginning THANK YOU and if you haven’t WELCOME!
